CASTING WORKBOOK SERVICES INC. 1998 – present

Operations Manager

Being involved in most aspects of the Casting Workbook’s planning for future products and services and supporting our actors, casting, theatre, producer and talent agent clients in an industry that I love is a privilege. My current position which involves strategic planning, managing the Toronto office, client support, technology and mentorship is ideal for my personality and ability inventory.

With the evolving social media requirements in our industry, Casting Workbook has been the ideal place to learn and grow. I am currently completing my Digital Marketing Management Certificate at University of Toronto so I can provide additional expertise to the company as we move forward and expand into the social media culture.

My previous work experience as a performer, talent agent at Premier Artists Management and The Talent House plus a background in advertising sales and marketing has given me a good foundation for the many hats I wear at Casting Workbook.

Glenn Hall (Lecturer, Director of Educational Outreach) with students and profs Roy Cross and Guylaine Dionne from Concordia University (Montreal) at Casting Workbook's lecture on student film casting. Casting Workbook¹s Student Outreach program educates both graduating actors and filmmakers at over 25 colleges, universities and film schools/acting schools across Canada.

Director of Educational Outreach

Education and mentorship have always been my passion. Starting with a 2-year stint as permanent substitute teacher at an international American school in Saudi Arabia at age 18, I have earned both my certificate at George Brown College (Toronto) in “Instructing Adults” and my professional coach (CPC) certification at the International Coach Academy.

I conceived and administer the Casting Workbook Educational Outreach program which offers graduating film students and graduating actors access to industry lectures and to the Casting Workbook service.

In my capacity as Director of Educational Outreach at Casting Workbook Services Inc, I regularly speak with graduating actors about electronic casting and navigating the industry as a working actor. I also work with second and third year film makers providing insight into the casting process, communicating with the industry and auditioning actors for their student films.

I am a regular guest lecturer at the following academic institutions:

Concordia University Dalhousie U. Dawson College
George Brown College John Abbott College Humber College North
Humber College South Niagara College Randolph Academy
Ryerson University Seneca College Sheridan University
Sheridan/UTM Mississauga St. Clair College St. Lawrence College
Toronto Film School University of Winnipeg University of Windsor
York University

I have also participated at events hosted by: ACTRA and Film Training Manitoba.
